Received medical request 13 November
Medical done - 17 November

Do you receive PAL??
If so, you are just waiting for the PPR.
My question is, which documents about your startup were requested by IRCC in additional documents.

Kai - there is a mention of "the backlog from 2020 could take three years to resolve"
So from 2020 3 years or from now on 3 years? OMG, this wait seems never-ending.

As my understanding, What the politician mentioned in the CIC news means that if the IRCC doesn't have any countermeasures or improvements the 2020 applicants will wait for 3 years from the date of receipt.....not from now on....We can refer to the processing time is now 31 months from the date of receipt to deduce it.

Yes I received the pre arrival services letter today.
The documents requested from me in two times were-
Bank statement
Reference letter
Canadian company incorporation certificate
PCC
Current patent status and proof ,of the product.
How I will actively manage the startup explanation.
Till date progress report.
And updated travel details
And last is about a travel explanation regarding a visit.

Congrats! Assuming you are still in India (saw a prev post), do follow the process for 2 way courier once you get PPR. Make sure you enter the pickup details correctly but still keep track and double check as VFS did mess up my passport drop!

Received a mail regarding the pre arrival services from IRCC is it mandatory to attend or we can ignore it and what is means regarding our file.

Congrats. You are getting closer to ppr.
PAL is just an online webinars and videos preparing you for what to expect when you land in canada. You have opportunity of asking questions if you attend the live sessions concerning anything you're not sure of about your move to canada.
Its not mandatory but beneficial to a considerable extent.

Good day guys, applied for work permit under suv progame two months ago, applied for pr last week.
A week after applying for the wp, i received biometric request. Today, I received a request to go for medicals.
I assume the medicals is for the work permit application, is this a good sign?

That was fast. Some people have been waiting for update on their work permit for more than 6 months. This is so surprising cos I'm guessing you are applying from Nigeria where every application is relatively slow. Even passport submission and collection takes btw 6-8 wks.

I applied my WP application in November 2020 (Inland)
Requested Business plan for WP in January 2021 and submitted in April 2021.
A letter informed me that my WP application transferred to Edmonton.
But no process since then.............

For the PR, applied in December 2020 (Inland)
Received the Temporary AOR in January 2021 but nothing on the Permanent number since then

Don't know what is happening.,..

Hi, I wonder why IRCC doesn't proceed and finalize WP till PPRs take long time???

If you see from the past database they have admitted on a per annum basis less than 300 applications for 2019 and 2020 and less than 100 applications until Sept 2021 for PR under the SUV category.

I am not sure how many applications they receive and how do they process them at what speed.

Probably every application carries multi participants + their relatives, children
So you can multiply these numbers by 3
