Hi everyone,
As Swaroop mentioned above "PR card will take 4 months"
In case I currently have a visitor visa which is valid in ~10 years, in the meanwhile waiting for PR card issued I wonder if we are able to go back then come to Canada again by our Visitor Visa or the Visitor Visa will be deleted as soon as the PR card issued?
Looking forwards to your advice

Trv will no longer be valid if you receive a permanent resident visa.if you are outside Canada as a pr holder. and you need to go back to canada, You can only apply for a permanent resident travel document (PRTD).

In the form 1295 in the section: DETAILS OF INTENDED WORK IN CANADA there are some options, which one should be use for work permit under SUV
1- Exemption from Labour Market Impact Assessment
2- Start-up Business class

if select "Start-up Business class" offer of employment number will be disabled.

For my application, I selected "1- Exemption from Labour Market Impact Assessment"
But I also remember getting confused about that. Regardless make sure you include an explanation letter, stating that you are SUV applicant, attach your letter of support and indicate and attach documentation that shows you meet the SUV work permit requirements (i.e you paid the employer compliance fee, state your LMIA Exempt No., proof of funds, company registration docs / ownership, etc)

Assume the immigration officers don't know anything about you or even the SUV program. Your job should be to hold their hand and clearly show, explain and direct their attention to the important stuff (how you meet eligibility requirements)

Believe me, through GCMS notes, some IRCC officers are still confused about the SUV program, how to code our work permits, and it is also clear from the SUV work permit application guide, that the instructions haven't been updated in a while.

And the fact that the option "2- Start-up Business class" isn't documented in the SUV work permit guide is sign of how IRCC hasn't maintained the application procedure for the SUV applicants.

As IRCC processing procedure:
1- We received your application for PR on....=> the date your application package arrived at the IRCC office.
2- We sent you correspondence AOR on ....=> the date you got your AOR
3- We started processing your application on....=> the date you got your "Biometrics Instruction Letter". This is because Biometrics review is one of the first steps to be processed by IRCC after your application was complete with AOR issued.
In case you have got the AOR but the Biometrics letter does not come yet => this means that your step No. 3 is not started yet.
My case was in Jan 2020, the step No. 2 & 3 were taken place at the same time.
It should be no problem at all, just be patient. I assume that will come soon in a couple of weeks

Our WP application has submitted in Nov 2020 and we are waiting. IRCC replied to our web form that our application in queue of review!!!!!!!
Our permanent application has submitted in Nov 2020 and we received the receipt of Docs only.

I applied for my WP in January and my PR in February 2021.

My WP was approved at the beginning of March and received the Temporary AOR 2 days after that. But nothing on the Permanent number.

Haven't heard from IRCC regarding the PR process since then.

I was wondering if applying online for the PR, do we need to mail all the forms from the checklist after doing the online application?
