We got ADR, 5 times with these questions
Provide updated proof of settlement funds.

Submit recent bank statements for all applicants.
Provide proof that your start-up is currently active.
Submit updated incorporation documents.

Provide evidence of your ongoing role in the business.
Clarify your current country of residence with proof.
Submit recent communication with your Designated Organization.

Provide an updated business plan/pitch deck.
Show evidence of revenue, customers, or contracts (if any).
Provide details of your current occupation and work activities.

Submit proof of collaboration among all four co-founders.
Provide product development updates (screenshots, links, reports).
Clarify whether you or your co-founders are engaged in other employment.

Provide future business establishment plans in Canada.
Also my twin daughters turned 18, so we had to update their information before PAL 2, I don't know if it counts as an ADR.
They asked for my PCC as well as my spouse but not my daughters.
Most of the ADRs with questions were super fast after PAL 1 and between PPR.
Haven't included anything like Schedule A again, just other documents.

Hi, Congratulations

Did they inform you of the teleinterview in advance

Were the questions sent to all of the team members in writing by IRCC
Our representative got an email for it, but I've heard it can also be a zoom meeting or anything like that. No not written, it felt like a natural and relaxed conversation, we only got the ADRs in writing, but the questions were brief specific and to the point, as long as you answer honestly, you should be fine.

If your start-up does not succeed in Canada, what will you do?
Why did you choose Canada over another country with a bigger start-up ecosystem?
You mentioned innovation — but why hasn’t anyone already built what you are proposing?
If one of your co-founders decides to leave, how will that affect the business?
Your background is not directly in tech/business (if true for some founders) — why should we believe you can succeed in this field?
Are you working for any other company or project outside the start-up? If yes, how do you balance it?
Who are your direct competitors, and what prevents them from copying your idea?
What traction or customer validation have you achieved to show that your idea works in real life?
If your product is still in the early stage, why do you think it has global potential?
How do you plan to generate revenue — and how soon?
(That's all the questions from Memory plus documentations)
What date was your tele-interview, were you informed in advance of this call

We are all excited, hence so many questions, bear with us

I'm wondered if you may share with us what kind of proof should be submitted to make IRCC satisfied with your answers
1- Provide proof that your start-up is currently active.
2- Submit updated incorporation documents, do i need to update incorporation?
3- Provide evidence of your ongoing role in the business.
4- Submit recent communication with your Designated Organization, what if I'm not InTouch with them for a long period of time
5- Show evidence of revenue, customers, or contracts (if any). what if i don't have any revenue or customers and still in planning phase
6- Provide details of your current occupation and work activities.
7- Clarify whether you or your co-founders are engaged in other employment., what if is YES?

sorry for detailed question, but this is the 1st time we have a good news in forum

  • 1. Screenshot of your live website / app (if MVP exists).
Recent pitch decks, prototypes, GitHub repos, wireframes, or product demo links. Social media handles / pages showing activity.
Meeting notes, investor outreach emails, accelerators/incubators participation proof.

  • 2. If nothing has changed (address, directors, shareholding), your original incorporation certificate & by-laws are fine.
If you did make changes (new directors, new shares, new office address) → yes, update incorporation with the registry and send latest documents.
IRCC wants to see the company isn’t “dissolved” or “inactive.”

  • 3. Employment/consulting agreement between you and your start-up.
Emails or Slack/Teams logs showing you working with your team.
Project management tools screenshots (Jira, Trello, Notion, etc.).
Minutes of meetings signed by all co-founders.
Proof of you representing the company (pitch events, webinars, LinkedIn posts).

  • 4. Ideally: recent emails, mentorship notes, or meeting records with your DO.
If you haven’t been in touch → try reconnecting now (even a short “progress update” email helps).
If completely inactive DO → you can still show that your LOS is valid and you’re progressing independently

  • 5. If you have revenue → share invoices, contracts, or payment receipts.
If no revenue yet (still planning/MVP stage) →
Share LOIs (letters of intent) from potential customers.
    Market research reports you created.
    Accelerator acceptance letters.
Any POC (proof of concept), pilots, beta testers.
IRCC doesn’t always require revenue — but they do need proof of work in progress.

  • 6. If you’re working full-time on the start up → show proof (bank statements with founder salary, work calendar, business plan updates).
Transparency is better than hiding it.

  • 7. It’s okay if some are employed elsewhere — many founders bootstrap this way.
But: make sure you show commitment to the start-up (time invested, responsibilities, proof of work).
If all founders are in unrelated full-time jobs with zero start up work → red flag.
So position it carefully: show balance, but emphasize commitment.

We had another one done in December/January, which was unusual as we had our last one done which still had time to expire but I believe they wanted to finalize our application that's why we got another one
