I have an offer of employment and start work in Alberta in the middle of February. My employer has asked me to get a criminal background check, biometrics and a medical if required.
what type of background check do I need? I live in the UK, so would it be just a standard DBS check?
I’ve read online that I shouldn’t require a medical with me being a UK National. Is this correct?
my employer is just finalising the LMIA. In people’s experiences, will I need to do much more before applying for my visa at the border?
