I applied for my visa on January 7, visitor visa from canada because I have a work permit and I sent my passport with xpresspost
to CTD -ottawa
P.C. 9640
to print the visa
deposit date ; on 07/01
passport application:20/01
passport send on 20/01
passport received on 23/01
when it arrives it is written ( delivered to recipient s delivery partner and signed by SCI BELL) is this normal
and how long does it take for it to be fully approved and returned to me

I sent it to this address . They sent an e-mail stating that they received it on January 17th, Canada post employee said that they would send my passport to my home address in 7 business days, but I could not receive my passport, it has been 10 business days, no news yet.



May I know in how many days I will receive delivery?

Hii, same to me. I sent my passport to Temporary Resident Visas Section in Ottawa on January 24 and it was signed as received for SCI BELL, I was searching information because I am stressed about my passport LOL ‍‍

Did you guys received your passports back with the VISA. If so, could you please post your timeline. I am in the same process, sending my mother's passport on Monday.

Yes, I received it. Time line 3rd March letter requestinh my passport, sent my passport same day. 7th March received by stamping office. Visa stamped on 13th Mach, I received my passport on March 18th.

Hello,

I discovered that my study permit has limitations on working, so I applied for an amendment. I sent my documents on August 4th to the Ottawa office, and according to the tracking ID, they were delivered on August 8th with a signature from SCI BELL. However, I have not yet received any email from the immigration office confirming that they have received my documents or started processing them.

Please may i know why, or is it normal.

Me too sent to Ottawa office last Nov 14, 2023 and it was received by SCI BELL until now I didn't know where's my passport. I called IRCC they just let me call again and they will check because doesn't appear in their system my application is VOS correction of my name in counterfoils visa typo error on their end

You have to consider between the 20th when your package was received and this Monday there would have probably been limited staffing due to the vacation so processing will end up taking longer than if you had applied during a non-holiday time.

Did you received your passport back. My passport was also received by SCI kone and I sent on 5th Jan and they receive on 9th jan
