I am sponsoring my mother in India under family visa category and is in the final stages of processing. She could be asked to send her passport to Delhi office for stamping visa anytime within the next six months. However, she is scheduled to arrive Canada for 4 months from June until October as she already has a supervisa. What will she do if the letter for sending the passport to Delhi office for stamping PR visa comes when she is already in Canada. My concern is that they will reject her application because she is unable to send her passport within the stipulated time limit.
Will she be eligible to go to the Citizenship office in Canada to stamp her permanent residence visa?
