Dear experienced people,

I have a citizenship test on April 30th. The issue is that there is a stamped date on my passport I didn't mention in the application. It is an entry stamped date to Canada. Last year I visited my home country for one week but they didn't stamp my passport when I checked in. When I finished my visit and went back to Canada they stamped my passport entry stamp. Now I have entry stamp to Canada but there is no entry stamp to my country. This is why I didnt mention the entry stamped date to Canada? Is this bad? How bad? What am going to do? Plz help.

regards

There is a good chance you will get RQ on or after test.

1. A miss entry undermines your credibility to have missed entries. Questionable credibility often means that the CIC will likely question the validity of all your declared absences. You may get an RQ and you would be wise to prepare for this possibility.

2. How many days of actual physical presence do you have? If it is less than 1095 days, this is a big problem.

3. It seems that you remembered this trip but failed to list it because you didn't have a stamp from you home country. Is that true? If so, it shows poor judgement on your part. Going forward you need to do everything you can to maintain your credibility with the CIC by telling the truth.

4. You should also go through your passport and make sure that there aren't any other trips that you've neglected to mention.

Good luck. How you go forward depends on how many days of physical presence you have.
