stamp in passport

Hi,
i'm just wondering if any of you could help me out here.

i got a stamp the same page as i've previously been stamped on my 1st visit to canada
which expires in april this year (from october last year) but i left in november.. does that mean i only got a limited time
since the officer didn't write any date on it?

Do you have a multiple entry visa? Was the date when you arrived in Canada written on the first stamp and no other date written? Was the date written on the second stamp the date when you came back to Canada and no other date written? For how long were you away from Canada and to where did you go to? Sorry, lots of questions.

i'm from an excempt country so i'm not sure if i need a multiple entry? yeah the date was written on the 1st time i got in (and the stamp is blue) this one is brownish and is just placed next to the other stamp.. but no date is written. no date was written on my 2nd stamp no, i have another stamp that had the same on a complete different one i got when i re-entered from hawaii to vancouver back in november last year.. i'm super confused about is, as i'm thinking i might stay for longer than april. i was away from the 17th november til janurary the 12th so just a month and a bit i traveled back to England from Calgary

If you are from a visa exempt country than do not worry. If no date is written or stamped than you can stay in Canada up to 6 months from the date of entry. Once you leave Canada and re-enter at a later date the 6 month period is reset unless otherwise stamped or written in your passport by the IO at port of entry.

If you are unsure always ask the IO at the port of entry.
