Stale-dated form

Hi everyone,

I'm in a bit of a tizzy because I submitted my PR application yesterday, and today I realized that just one of the forms was probably stale-dated (i.e. I signed it more than 3 months ago). It was just ONE of the many forms that's required (I think IMM0008), but I'm wondering if this makes my whole application unacceptable. If so, I'm trying to figure out what the best course of action is.

Is it possible to call the office where my application will be processed and let them know I'll be sending in a new form?

If they send me a confirmation and case number, will it be possible to mail them a new form referencing this case number? Or will they just send the application back to me without assigning a case number?

If the application is returned for a small error like this, will I have to pay the fee again?

I'm not sure the stale-dated issue is relevant for PR applications, the 90 days is a requirement for Citizenship and PR card applications. But, if the forms are 3 months old, did you check them for updates?

Thanks, Aquakitty. Now that I do more searching, I also can't find anything about the stale-dated requirement for PR applications. Can anyone else confirm this?

I called CIC on this just to check... in case anyone else has this question, they said that it's up to the officer's discretion whether the date on the form is a problem or not. In my case, CIC hasn't updated the form and my information on the form is still accurate... so I guess we'll have to wait and see.
