You see? It's nothing about their computer system...it's their stupidity and the lack of any logic in how they process applications. They ask for a medical, you get it done...that should be the end of it. If they turn around in 84 days and tell me my wife has to do a new medical, I will request to know the reasoning...I'll submit it, but I'll also include some kind of letter explaining to these fools why this is problematic and how this causes unnecessary delays...creating more anguish for those awaiting to return to Canada!

Are these fools that thick??

...pretty sure its only 3 months for police certs...

The second para under "Who needs a police certificate?" states, and I quote:
"The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application."

It does not mean that the PCC is valid just for 3 months.

Ah ok, thanks for that!!! Seems like Canada is so much more complicated to move to than many other countries, when I moved to Europe I think I filled out bout 6 pages of paperwork, as opposed to 50+

And who would pay them?
Us.

The more people that apply, the bigger their backlog gets, but the more application fees they collect, no?

Do you seriously think that the entire CIC is funded solely on our application fees?

Depends on what case the CIC staff was working on I guess. He/she may be talking about an FSW application?

A stage 1 approval at 7 years? Seems a bit far fetched...probably the guy at cic was putting you on...

Now you are begining to feel and understand
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/petition-call-to-ministry-of-immigration-for-cics-poor-practice-t100257.0.html

You can not really judge a man untill you are in his shoes. You know in many countries it is common to do 2 medicals and 2 finger printing if not more! Crazy is not it?? I have seen cases more ...

It takes a real man to admit he was wrong. I salut you
