St Luke's Upfront medical Inquiry(Philippines).

Hi, my wife underwent the upfront medical at the beginning of the month, but did not receive any proof of the examination.

I was under the impression that she would receive something for me to submit with her application, from my prior correspondence with St. Luke's panel physician:

Thank you for your inquiry.

For upfront medical exam, a copy of Information Sheet not the IMMF1017 will be given upon medical examination which you need in lodging your visa application.

She claims that they instructed her to return at the end of the month, to claim the results.

WTF

I am pretty sure that is not standard procedure(don't they submit the results to CIC?).

Any advice, or experiences, will be appreciated.

They should have given her a receipt to include in the app.

hi, i had my upfront medical at st. lukes (global city) - philippines, and I've seen people got their e-medical information sheet copy that will be included to the document checklist, i even got mine on the same day i had my upfront and usually CIC will get their copies 16 days after the medical. your case is quite unusual though, I suggest that you need to call their hotlines

i was wondering what happens next about your wifes e-medical receipt
cause it happens to my kids as well they didnt get any e-medical receipt as they said they will send the result to canadian embassy and i dont have any idea what to do. Pls i hope you can give me some information about it.
The medical was done in st.lukes manila.

Hi, it all when fine - when I stressed(repeatedly) that this was an *upfront* medical exam, everything was OK, and they provided my wife with the necessary information form once they finished any follow-up tests they needed to do.

St. Luke's will submit the results to the local visa office from their end, to be coordinated with your application - which you will need to send to Canada first, with the necessary information sheet that shows she has undergone a medical exam.

me and my son had our upfront medical (in baguio) yesterday. I will still return to the clinic for my urinalysis because I was having my period when we went for medical exam but I was told that I won't need the results because they will be the ones responsible in submitting it to the embassy so I was hoping to send our application package tom but I still need something to prove that we went for a medical exam.

Nothing was given to me except for the payment receipt so I was wondering what to attach to our application package as a proof of medical examination. thanks

Hi i went for upfront in baguio also. Normally after the doctor's physical exam, you will be directedto the adjacent room where you will wait for the lady to give you a copy of the emedical information sheet.

ask for them this 'emedical information sheet'. This will be the medical proof you will attach to your application package.

Thanks I was told their system was under maintenance that time and that they will send me an information sheet through email when the system is up. I did not understand it when they said that, now I will just have to wait for that.

Follow up question: Will it be okay to submit the application already though I have not yet received all my medical exam results? I was planning to send our application form before the results of my urinalysis will be released since my urinalysis is still scheduled next week and our application forms are now complete (except for the proof of medical exam which I will be receiving on Monday). We were hoping to send our applications asap because my husband's employment proofs were obtained since July and we are afraid it might go outdated if our application package be sent late in September already

Send it after you receive your info sheet. The medical clinic will be the one to forward the medical results to CIC.

Send the app now. Include a copy of the receipt and a letter of explanation.

my children just recently had their upfront medical at St. Luke, they're aged 14 and 13. I paid Php 5,600 for each but they we're both charge 3,000+ for another test because of their ear pierce, is this so? my daughter has her ear pierce after birth and my son just recently. Did anyone had the same experience?
