That Case Processing Centre is an entry point to travel through time and space, in fact the movie "interstellar" was based on that place, Matthew McConaughey went inside St. Clair CPC and it made him to reflect upon his life's past and future.

Great one, I can feel the pain in your response. I endured that torture for 4 years before forced to withdraw and re-apply.

Yes, St.Clair had been a Guantanamo base for Canadian Citizenship processing, where nobody has any idea about their plight.

If I'm not mistaken St Claire office is NOT conducting the Citizenship tests. It used only as back office processing hub for region.

CIC Scarborough is main office where Citizenship Test and Oaths are scheduled for most of the Toronto GTA except the West GTA.

I've heard only horrible stories related to this office. It seems like a bucked for problematic cases with a very high chance for huge delays.

My wife had her test in this office March, 9th, because we live in downtown.

As I've mentioned above, time is irrelevant for this place.
(my apologies, I just can not take seriously that office any more, in fact entire system is a joke)

Last week during the second reading of the proposed Bill C-6 one of the MP said that 15% of all applications have more than 4 years processing timeline. I understand your words by saying that the whole system is a joke.

There is no western world democracy with such devastating timelines.

The Citizenship application fee increased by 500% on promise to improve CIC system, hire 300 more personnel and cut down processing time. Past 9 months, nothing has improved, candidates still getting same old excuses - excess work load and each case is different.

Looks like CIC has absolutely no performance audits, matrix, accountability or answerable to anyone. Its biggest source of bulk revenue for government where people will silently pay.

No surprise, on some or other pretext there may be another increase in processing fee soon to support the bad economy, its easy money.

Actually recently there were reports at the CIC website where without any shame CIC reported that for the recent years they were unable to get to the 80% processing applications internal standards. The numbers were ~57% of all processed for one of the years and for the second one ~63%.

Guess what happens to the remaining .... CORRECT =>FRESH NEW BACKLOG.

For all the time since the implementation of the new rules they still can't finish properly what they have promised.
No surprise at all.
