SSN required for getting FBI police clearance certificate from USA?

i need to get police clearance certificate from USA for my Canadian citizenship. in the fbi police clearance certificate.. there are the asking the full social Security Number for US? i never had one as i was only visiting .

in the application form it says its mandatory ..any one has any idea as how to fill this form as i have no SSN ?

You can simply cross that bit out and clearly write "NOT APPLICABLE."

It's only mandatory to provide an SSN on the form for people who do have (or have ever had in the past) a US SSN.

SSN is not mandatory. I received my FBI clearance within 2 weeks and I didn’t provide SSN as I didn’t have one.
