Applied under 2174 documents received in AINP on 15th April (14th April Postmarked), AINP then requested documents from us for missing sign in Use of a Representative form last week.

First time when I submitted my application back in April, I was very confident that I will receive the nomination as my current employer is a leading Canadian company. Adding to this I had working experience in Canada and had a valid Canadian working visa. I also mentioned that once I receive the visa, I will move to our Calgary or Edmonton office. I had a masters degree from US and had 6 years of experience includes 3 years of US experience. Hence I was confidant that I will get the nomination. However, as days progress I was disappointed. Later when I started to follow this forum, I felt that my application was probably not accepted hence I will never hear from AINP. On the other hand, many other friends are receiving the file number. Anyway good luck to everyone and hope everyone gets the nomination.

Application received: April 2, 2009

We get our file numbers through email.

In my case, its subject line was "Receipt of Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) Application" and sender's (AINP's) email address was "Pnp.Office@gov.ab.ca" (actually my lawyer forwarded me the email).

By the way, what is the timeline of your application?
