Hi,

Is there anyone who immigrated through express entry, srilankans who are settled in India?

I came here in 1998 in Tourist Visa and then Registered with Police and then living here since then no Criminal records and PCC is clear?

Will my application be rejected as I have overstayed.

My passport doesnt have any Visa as I came in Moms passport as a kid and I got new one from the Embassy in India.

In none of the places like PCC or anywhere nothing has been mentioned about my overstay

Please guide or provide any views or assistance tnce who is aware or have faced this

As long as you have all your documents and you were issued a passport from your embassy, there won't be any issues. However, IRCC can ask you for your proof of legal status in your country of residence, which you can explain and provide documents.

What kind of documents it might be I have a passport from my Embassy and I do have National Identity Card here in India and also the PCC and every once in 10years we do renew our Registration with the nearby police station and also I have PAN Card I do pay taxes regulary except Indian Passport I do have all the documents which an Indian Citizen or Resident has will that be sufifce?? Because passport is something which a citizen can hold and I never tried to be illegal in anyway to obtaim it thpugh there are ways to do. I will be honest in my LOE to explain all this

How can I prove that I am residing legally could you please advice me like what documents I should gather??
