SPP or non-SPP? What are my chances?

I am 23 years old and am interested to pursue further studies in Canada (preferably in Calgary). I am interested to do a course in the field of hospitality or human services

Education details:

- Completed 1 year diploma in Hospitality Management (Level 5) in June 2013 from Institute of Applied Learning (Auckland, New Zealand)

- Completed Bachelor of Arts in English in 2012 from Government College, Hoshiarpur

IELTS Score:

- Overall score is 6.0 (Listening: 6.5, Reading: 5.5, Writing: 5.5, Speaking: 5.5)


Questions:

1) Should I apply for student visa under SPP program only?

2) SAIT in Calgary has Chef and Professional Cooking diploma courses which meets my IELTS requirements. But SAIT is not under SPP and these courses are not relevant to hospitality. Could this affect my visa chances?

3) Bow Valley College is under SPP but it does not have relevant courses. I am also interested in the Child Care course but would it hurt my visa chances?

4) I believe there are some rules chaining starting June 1, 2014. Would I be able to get 2 or 3 years work permit after I complete my studies? I heard from people that there won’t be work permit given according to the new rules but was unable to find such information online.

I came back because it was hard to find a job and a offer letter to assist with work permit.....another reason is that I just want to be in Canada with my uncle and family

I want to apply for study visa in sait polytechnic(calgary).i want to study civil engineering diploma. i wanted to go there because my realtives are living there.I want to apply for jan 15 intake.

i have achieved following bands in IELTS

L-6.5 R-6.0 W-5.5 S-5.5

i have done my 12th this year
12th-84%
10th-85%

what r my chances 4 the visa ........plz reply ...
