SPP CRITERIA AND NEED EXPERT ADVISE

HELLO EVERY ONE!!!

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW EXACTLY ELIGIBLE CRITERIA OF SPP.?

I HAVE A 6 BAND IN IELTS AND A DEGREE OF ENGINEERING IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY WITH SECOND CLASS(45%) WITH COUPLE OF

ATKT. I GOT 60% IN 12TH WITH 2 TRIAL AND 76% IN 10TH.

SO CAN I EASILY GET THE VISA UNDER SPP OR I WOULD LIKE TRY MY LUCK NOTHING ELSE .... M CONFUSED AND DID NOT ABLE TO TAKE ANY DECISION, WHAT TO DO???

If you are applying under http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/StudentPartnersProgram_ProgrammePartenairesEtudiants-Nov09.aspx?view=d these colleges,it means you are applying under SPP.

Hi,
you do not fall under SPP automatically if you apply to these institutions,
you qualify for SPP if you have a minimum of 80% of loan sanctioned from any accepted bank on the list.
If not then you would be a general applicant.

In SPP "acceptable financial instituitons in india" list, United Bank of India(UBI) is not mentioned.

However it is also stated that "The Education Loan must be provided by a bank governed by the Reserve Bank of India".

As per my knowledge UBI is a goverment bank.

*Does it mean that a loan from UBI would not be considered under SPP but in General category?

Get a loan only from the banks that are mentioned on the checklist
 
UBI is union bank of India not united bank of India !! There is no such bank in India :)

but as per UBI(United Bank of India) website its a nationalised bank...

But brother if it is not on their list that means its not there !! U can't get that added !!

Your bank is not the only nationalized which is left out of CHC list. Usually these banks are state owned and on the verge of bankruptcy.

No u can't use this bank in any Category !!
 
hi saikat,
i never heard the name of this bank there r so many banks approved by canadian embassy so why u gave preference to this bank
my suggestion go for other banks if u want ur visa
good luck for ur visa :)
