hello i also have a question, i have one son with my ex girlfriend i indicated on my application that i have one son as coming to Canada. I am already in Canada starting my PR application. I don’t have access to my ex or son in fact she has already married and I don’t know her whereabouts. In this case how do i let my son do the medicals? This isn’t logic. I don’t know their whereabouts how do ircc expect me to get in touch with my son who i don’t even know his whereabouts now and my ex. I just don’t know even if they still exist. I think this shouldn’t stop my process. Because i just don’t know where they are.

You need to show proof that u tried to find them u couldnt.
Also I think u should make an affidavit by a notary/legal person, mentioning that u did tried your best but couldnt find your son. And u will not be able to sponsor him in the future.

I think making an affidavit as you say is reasonable. Because i have no son to bring here in the future. I don’t know his whereabouts.
