I work in a construction company as the HR assistant for 3years. And my husband is a subcontractor to the same company. Now my husband wants to sponsor me and his document shows that we work in the same company. Will it affect my visa application?

Sponsoring you for what? Sponsorship is for PRs and Canadian sponsoring a spouse for PR. Working for the same company should not matter as your husband is a subcontractor (technically not an employee)

What kind of permit do you have? How long have you been married? How long did you date before you got married? Did you have a typical wedding based on your religious or cultural beliefs? Is your husband a Canadian since birth if not what is his immigration history? Is this a large construction company? It looks like you are trying to extend your stay in Canada since you are also posting about applying for a study permit. When does your current permit expire? Did you not qualify to apply for PR on your own if you’ve been working in Canada for 3 years?

I’m a new applicant, not yet in Canada. I’ve been married for 5yrs now. My husband is in Nigeria, I’m only applying to further my studies in Canada

So you working in same company is not relevant.

That isn’t considering sponsoring. Your spouse can try to get an OWP as a result of your studies. Best chance of an OWP would be if you are studying an advanced degree like a masters of PhD. You will need to show that you have the extra funds to support another person in Canada.
