Spouse Work Permit options after PNP Nomination

Hi,

I am in Canada. I have SINP Nomination with my spouse and kids name on the Nomination Certificate as accompanying.
My spouse and kids are outside of Canada.
My PGWP expires in 5 months from now.

Now, can i apply for Spouse Open Work permit of my wife at the same time when I apply for my own Closed Work permit (as my nomination is tied to employer).
OR
I need to first get my closed work permit and then apply for open work permit of my spouse based on that?

What are my options in this case? Please help.
