Hello All,

My wife is a secondary applicant for Canada express entry and she is a pharmacist with no experience. Can I do WES for her as I was advised for pharmacists WES is not applicable. Please advise.

Thank you

I have done M pharm and got my education credential assessed from WES.. If someone is applying as a pharmacist then he/she shud get the evaluation done from PEBC....

If you are the primary applicant and your spouse is a Pharmacist, you can get the ECA done from any agency. You will only get points for Bachelors degree or Masters degree. But your spouse will not be able to practice as a Pharmacist unless he/she gets a license.

From my understanding, either PEBC or WES shouldn't matter. With WES route, you'll need her degree and transcripts. But if you go with the PEBC route, you'll need to provide degree, transcripts, license in whichever country she's licensed in, and a letter of good standing from the appropriate pharmacy authorities in your country. So the PEBC route is harder/longer, that's why you go with that route if her intent is to practice. If not, WES should be fine and treated as a regular bachelor's degree.

People, correct me if I'm wrong.
