Hi!!

My fiancee has got his Canadian PR and we are getting married in January..

My concern is that i want to accompany him to Canada after our marriage which will take place in india. What are the chances of getting a tourist visa for me and then we can apply my PR from inland/outland depending on the situation. I am still pursuing my Ph.D. degree in india and will come back after my visitor visa get expired. I had once got the conference tourist visa which is now expired. So will that be a plus point in any way..

Thanking you in anticipation!!!!

Please rply!!!

Thanks :)

If you have a good travel history and you have something very definite that will force you to return at the end of your visit, you stand a much better chance than someone who doesn't. Really only one way to find out, and that is to apply. Provide strong supporting evidence of your ties to India.. However, you should be aware that the odds generally for being granted a TRV to visit Canadian spouses are not that wonderful.
