Hey everyone,

If anyone could help me withsome information on applying for spouse visa. Is there no way to submit the application online ? Do we have to send hard copies of all documents to the applicable address ?

Any help is appreciated!

i suggest you read the guide to know which copies need to be original and which dont have to be..

As of today, spousal sponsorship needs to be submitted on printed paper and delivered.
Read the guide carefully.

Thank you !! I am referring the guide, however the basic guide and complete seem to have contradictory information. Which one should I rely on ?

Which bits are you finding contradictory? Maybe someone here can clarify for you. We read through the basic guide, but had the complete guide open as we filled in the forms and just made our way through methodically that way. The checklist also provides a lot of info on when photocopies will suffice. My advice is to use the complete guide and the checklist to help you, and double check everything. We also googled a few questions, most of the bits that confused us had already been asked somewhere and that helped us out too!

The basic guide says if the given name or family name is not there in passport, write NA in those fields.

The complete guide says to leave those fields empty.

Step 5 for both the basic and complete guide have the same info that tells you to put N/A where family or given names are not on passports. Both guides also tell you that you'll need to write N/A in anything that you need to leave blank.
