Target is 12 months processing so you're well within timelines

That's normal. BGC is the longest part of the application. You really don't need to worry.

Your application will say "in process" until it's completed. Try not to be worried, it's still early in the process.

Not sure where you saw that, but no. There is no specific timeline on any part of the process. The only thing that the CIC says in regards to time is that you can expect an average of 12 months from acceptance. However, bear in mind that is only an average--some applications take longer, some not so long.

Nowhere does it say that.

The medical is not tied to any processing time. It's a mandatory part of the application and has no bearing on when you will get decision made.

The target is 12 months for 80 percent of cases. Could be less, could be more. Expect 12 and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised.

LVO averages 7-10 months, it's one of the slowest offices, so don't expect it to move quickly.
