Spouse Visa!

Hello Everyone!!

i am permanent resident and recently got married in back home. Can i get my wife here immediately and then apply her permanent resident aplication from inside Canada?

there is no "special visa" for spouses.

to bring her to Canada "immediately" the options are the same for any other person that want to come to Canada: on a temporary visa, that means, coming as Visitor, Foreign Worker, or as Student.
depending on the country of origin probably the easiest/fastest way is on a Visitor Status. once she is here you could apply inland for Permanent Residency and then wait all the processing time in Canada.

if depending the country the origin is not easy/fast to get a temporary record, might be a better option to apply outland for the Permanent Residency.

Given that she now has a PR spouse in Canada, the chances of your wife being approved for a TRV are low. She would need to show very strong ties to India to be approved.

I suggest you apply outland through New Delhi. You can apply now, it will be much faster than inland and it is not dependent on her getting a TRV.
