It should only make the process longer, but it is no ground of refusal if she nows about it. probably gonna have interviews with both of you and stuff, but the spousal application, as long as the relationship is genuine and you send enough proof of that, has very little to no chances of refusal.

after getting the Mail notifying us that my application was transfered to Etobicoke, today we got SA which we were expecting after getting the request for medicals three weeks ago. at least the things are moving a little bit more now...

august applicant here, just got and email stating that my application was transferred to etobicoke aswell.... i just can't express my frustration right now with nice words...

we haven't get any mail yet, just the request on mycic for the medicals a week ago. now I logged in ECAS and it only shows one line on the sponsor tab instead of 3 as it did last week... all this waiting is driving me crazy...

So an update, Linked my app to myCIC account about a month ago or so, this past Monday I received an email telling me I had a message on mycic account, i checked it and it was the request of my medicals, which i just got done today. hopefully i'm getting close to the end :)
