Hello,
I've been googling to try and find out, and came across this forum so I thought I would ask here.
I've started filling in forms and have also been looking on the CIC site, but can't find the answer so sorry if this is a stupid question.
Am I doing this all the wrong way round? According to CIC, processing times are about 8 months for spousal visa (right?) I have a job interview tomorrow, if I get this, would I be expecting them to wait 8 months before I could go over there and start working while my application is processed? If my company offer me a job, are they likely to be able to any thing for me in regards to getting over there? The job is not specialist (it's pre-sales for an IT firm) so is not on any of the "lists". Do I just have to say, thank you, accept the offer and then sort out my Spousal Application and say I will let them know when I will get there?
Also, I am confused about Sponsor / Co-signer bits. I understand that my wife is my sponsor, but it has a bit for Co-signer (obviously), am I reading right that this bit is irrelevant to me / us. Can this be be used by someone like her parents to add to the application and prove we have further support within Canada?
Thanks
