I landed in Canada on October and I had to return back for my wedding in India in Dec. I have been guided by some one that my wife can apply as a visitor to Canada and when she visits canada we can file the family class(spousal Visa) application from Canada itself... is that possible...?
can I sponsor her as a visitor?? What is the quickest way to get her immigration done??

Kindly guide me please...

The processing time for inland applications is 26 months, and its 17 months for outland applications (but the real outland processing time would depend on your wife's visa office). Can you share her home country?
You can invite her as a visitor, but there are some conditions to that which you can find in the visitor visa thread.

Unless your wife can manage to get a work permit or something, spousal sponsorship would be the way for her. Like i had said earlier, spousal you can apply either outland or inland and outland is definitely quicker. Right now New Delhi Visa Office (NDVO) is taking about a year's time to issue visa.
Yes, you can get her to Canada on a visitor visa and then apply outland, or you can apply outland and then get her to Canada on a tourist visa for a few months. Please be advised that a visitor visa is difficult to obtain unless the applicant has a job, some personal assets and travel history..Basically evidence that will convince the authorities that you will return to India after your TRV expires. But, a tourist visa really helps as it gives the couple an opportunity to reduce their time apart.
