Spouse visa approval in Principal awaited

Hi, I am the principal applicant & mine is an Inland application. I applied for my work permit along with Family Class Sponsorship-Spouse. I received AOR in one & half months & got my work permit in 3 months. Please note my application was received by IRCC on 26 June 2017

However, i haven't yet received 'Approval in principal' for my application from IRCC.. I wanted to apply for a Health card in Ontario but was declined, as 'Approval in principal' from IRCC is not yet received.

Please advise on the following:-
1. What is 'Approval in principal' precisely
2. How will i get it - email or my CIC account or physical copy of letter ?

1. Approval in principle will be sent to your cic accountto after they reviewed all your completeness documents, your eligibility, passed medical check up so on.. it will come quite long for my case after a year hhh
2. It will be in your cic account and you can print it..

In Alberta provincial healthcare, i can applied 3-4months after arrived with visitor visa on registry office with my husband (sponsor canadian) accompanied me

Thanks for taking out time on replying for this. This is really helpful. My application is now 3-4 months only & my hubby is a PR holder right now. Maybe i need to wait until i get the needed approval. ! Thanks

You are welcome- all people in this forum so helpfull for all myquestions so as return i will do the same. If you fall tk sick in this country is expensive if you have no insurance haha
