Hi everyone I have a few questions, hopefully the experts here can give me some info:

I am a Canadian working in Asia and met my boyfriend there, he has duel citizenship - South African passport & Korean passport. We are planning to get marry later this year and move back to Canada.

My questions:
1. Is there any implication which passport he should be using for the spouse visa application?
2. Or he must declare he has dual citizenships?
3. If South Africa passport is his primary passport (he just obtained the Korean passport a few years back), can he use Korean passport to apply?
4. Is it true that South African passport is a bit more difficult to obtain the spouse visa than the Korean one?
5. If he was working in the police force in South Africa, will it be an issue?
6. Is there any timeframe we should apply the spouse visa after the marriage? If we apply it the next day after marriage, will it be ok? or I should wait for a few months before we go ahead?
7. Normally how long is the validity to activate the spouse visa? i.e. if the spouse visa is granted, how many months we can stay in Asia before we return back to Canada? Is it 6 months?

Thank you so much for your help.
