spouse verification

Does the visa officer do verification of spouse's employer ?? since I am not the primary applicant, my wife is, what exactly he will verify for in my case. What if after submitting the documents my company is closed or the address and phone number changes....Is providing the bank statement showing regular salary credits enough a proof of employment in the case of spouse??

satwant08 , In my opinion Spouse Verification for employment is not done. I have never come across such a case and also there are no points associated with the employment of Spouse

I dont remember exactly the name of the forum member but there is one case on Pakistan application thread where they did verify about spouse employment. If you have sent employment contract and reference letters of spouse they can call to verify.
