The doctor just tole my wife she need to redo her urine test because there is blood in it, will it affect application?

not USUALLY an issue. has she been on her period recently? you will need a further test (CIC will ask for it) then they can advise you further.

dear,
it should not affect your application unless their is a medical complication. they will simply redo it ,check the results and them will send them to CIC

It is not just after the period, so that is why I am worried. She is pretty healthy so we didn't expect there is some health issue for her...

medical complication? something like cancer, kidney failure? if so...we probably will not think about immigration for a while...

don't worry , i know in a situation like this any one would freak out . just go for another urine sample and hopefully everything will come out right .

Your wife should drink lots of water before she goes back for the test. Her urine should be very clear, almost like water on that day and she will be fine.

Yes, that is our plan, hope it works

Middle of cycle and keep her hydrated (but not overly hydrated).

I also had high levels of blood in my urine. IRCC will recommend a serum creatinine test, in my case that came back normal so don't worry. Good luck!

Did the doctor tell you what the result was (+1, +2, etc)? I had +2, but the microscopy performed on it came back normal. The doctor told me I'd likely have to come back and do a repeat test...he didn't know what he was talking about apparently. CIC passed my medical last week.

The PP suggests that women go to the medical test mid cycle. It's common for women to have blood in the urine around / after menstration

I did my medical upfront before points dropped.

I hadn't drank hardly any water all day and there was blood in my urine.

They made me drink 4/6 glasses and in the space of 10 minutes I re-tested and the amount had gone to "trace" and they passed it.

Clinic I was at said it was common, among men and women.
