You can try but since you have a PR application in process, his chances are lower. By the time his visa is processed, his sponsorship may have been processed.

Unfortunately pregnancy doesn’t usually influence whether a spouse can get a TRV. I would have a plan B. Perhaps you have a family member who can join you. You can certainly try for the TRV but keep your options open,
