Spouse Tourist Visa Delay

Hi all.. I am here in Canada on a work permit. My spouse and kid applied for their visa on August 12 th and the tickets to visit me (end of September) were booked in advance. Unfortunately, we have not heard anything from the IRCC yet. Would be glad to hear your views and is there anything I an do from my end to hasten the process? Thanks .

Nothing you can do but wait out the process .
Purchasing tickets ahead of time is never recommended

We thought it will strengthen the application form because there was absolutely no intention of overstaying. Painful wait
