What’s a AOR??Well it says still processing?but I won’t receive nothing that my application got approved??thanksAs you were told a month ago, you have received AOR and your file says your application is being processed. You must anticipate that the process will take approximately 12 months. Sometimes longer.
AOR is acknowledgement of receipt which signifies your application has been received in full, nothing is missing, and they are going to start processing. You only applied in December, and the process target timeline is 12 months, so it's normal to have periods of silence and waiting. What’s a AOR??Well it says still processing?but I won’t receive nothing that my application got approved??thanks
You will find out more when approximately twelve months have passed. You may also find out more in between. What’s a AOR??Well it says still processing?but I won’t receive nothing that my application got approved??thanks

1. You won't get an application number until you get AOR - which could be 45-60+ days from when the office received your application.HI everyone,
I am sponsoing my husband who is in India. I am resident in canada..I would like to know how much time does it take to get file number? Our paperwork was received by immigration office on May 2 as it was sent to Nova scotia.. Secondly, is it still taking a year to get approval??? Thirdly after we sent our application, now husband's company is sending him to UK on work visa.. so can his medical and biometrics be done there? As we have already sent our application to visa office.. so when should we notify change in address and do we need to write LOE? I m so much stressed out !!!Plz help ... TIA
thank you so much ... really appreciate it he will be going to UK in june.. so he needs to get his pcc done there too right???1. You won't get an application number until you get AOR - which could be 45-60+ days from when the office received your application.
2. Yes, it still takes a year - for 80% of all normal applications. It could be slightly shorter, or more likely longer.
3. You will need to update his address if he is in the UK for a long length of time - he will need to do a police check from there and other things like that. Wait until you get AOR to do that, so that you can use the application number to submit an LOE notifying of the address change. He will be able to do medicals and biometrics in the UK.
Once you update the address you may or may not be required to get a PCC. Ask ircc.thank you so much ... really appreciate it he will be going to UK in june.. so he needs to get his pcc done there too right???
ok thank you so muchOnce you update the address you may or may not be required to get a PCC. Ask ircc.
Only need PCC if you are somewhere for 6 months. No point in doing PCC on arrival since nothing would show up unless he previously lived in the UK.ok thank you so much
