Hello all,

I , sponsor , applied for my wife being in India for PR under family class. My wife , principal applicant , will immigrate and land Canada for the first time .

Is , sponsor , needed for immigration check at Indian and Canadian airport?

Is it necessary to land Toronto international airport for new immigrant for immigration check ?

Where else can be immigration check n landing be done ?

sponsor is not needed or required for immigration check when principal applicant lands as PR in Canada.

principal applicant can land at any airport or border crossing.
