Hello,

I am a permanent residence. My GF is in India. We are planning to get married this year. I am confused about sponsorship:
1.Can I do court marriage and file for sponsorship, then do traditional marriage?
2. If I do traditional marriage, can I do upfront medical and police clearance for my wife?
3. Is it compulsory to change my wife's last name on her passport and add my name in her passport? How long this process takes?
4. How long is it taking for complete sponsorship process?

1. Delhi expects the big traditional marriage. Not having it will cause delays and possibly an interview.
