Hi there,
I am new to this forum and I am in the process of getting married this June in China. I am looking to sponsor my future wife once I come back to Canada with all documents I need.
Ok, here is my situation. I am a PR resident in Canada and my fiancée is a Chinese national but she does not reside in China in the past 2 years because she works at Mexico temporally at her relatives business and her parents lived in China. According to the application for Permanent Resident, I must provide her residential address where she physically is living. Do I choose her Mexico address instead or China?. She plans to return to Mexico after the marriage and work there for the time being once the Sponsorship application is completed and approved. Then she will go back to China to get the PR visa. Is that ok? Should I have Mexico as her residential and mailing address or China?
I plan to have all documents signed and done when we both go to China to get married and get documents required such as the marriage certificate, her medical examination and police background check, so I hope she doesn't have to stay in China until the process is finished. I am worried that this might cause some confusion on the sponsorship process because she does not reside in China and only visit her parents when she got the time.
Another question in regard to the Medical examination, when she go to get her medical in an approved medical institution, do she get the examination report or does the doctor send it for her? I want to submit all the documents together with the medical report with my sponsorship application if possible. Is there a way I can request the doctor not to send it until I submit my sponsorship application to CIC Mississauga? I plan to submit the application once I come back.
Also, does she need a police background check from China and Mexico?
Thanks in advance.
