hi dear i has applied for husband PR on Jan 03 and we got request for passport on march 16 and we had mailed out passport on march 19,2013 but have't heard anything back from their yet? any views on that please

Considering you have an Indian name, I suspect you are Indian? If that's the case, NDVO requests the passport at the beginning of the process. All other VOs I am aware of request at the end. So you are still near the beginning. NDVO holds the passport for the entire time.
