Please help I married to a Canadian citizen and am due to submit my application this month. Theirs is a place on IMM 1344 which is sponsors UCI/Client ID. My wife was brought to the country since age 8 and now she doesn’t even have this number and she don’t know how her parent did it. Please how can she get her UCI/ Client ID. Please anyone with similar case should tell me how they did it. My visa is running out . Thanks

thanks for the swift response . But with the new online spouse you can’t leave it blank it won’t validate.

I just checked the form, it doesn't highlight it as required. Try to switch 6.a "Status in Canada" to Canadian by birth and back to Naturalized Canadian citizen. Just make sure you that 7.a and 7.c is correct. Don't touch 7.b (uci)

ERCAN this is someone that was brought to Canada at the age of 8, and her mom is died now. she doesn't know when she was naturalized. But she has Canadian passport, she also has this citizen ID. she doesn't have any documents that states if she was once a Permanents resident nor when she was naturalized. I don't know if Service Canada can provide this if she walked in with her Passport and ID.

Her parents have to have citizenship document/certificate (sorry, I don't remember the exact name of the document). She was most likely naturalized with her parents as kids usually are. I have a similar situation. So when doing sponsorship application for my wife we had to find my parents' certificate.

I suspect that Service Canada can help

I put the date on her citizenship ID card for the date of naturalized date and I left the UCI empty and I validated it and it worked . I guess the UCI is nt compulsory

Hey, this is solution work for you? The citizenship card does not have a day, only month and year. Did you put the first of the month?
