My wife and I have printed ~100 photographs going back the past almost decade and we are thinking to include them in the envelope with short details written on the back (dates, people in the photos, location, etc). Is this overkill or the right way to go? Also should they simply be put in a smaller envelope with the rest of the package?

Regarding letters, we are thinking to each write a one page point form letter detailing our relationship history and plans for our future. Would this be sufficient? Appreciate any feedback on this. Thank you.

On the back we wrote dates, names of people in photos and person who took photo, location, what was going on. I'm not sure about the best way to send photos, so hopefully others will chime in.

We each wrote about our relationship, about 4 pages total. If you can detail your relationship and plans in one page each, I don't see a problem with that. Just ensure you provide enough information to show how your relationship developed over time.

We also included the following as proof of relationship:
1. change of marital status with CRA
2. copy of comments from our wedding guest book
3. emails from friends and family talking about our relationship
4. screen shot of our facebook profiles showing when we became friends with comments from family & friends
5. photos of gifts to us, when, on what occasion, and who gave it
6. copy of wedding reception receipt
7. evidence of change of marital status at work
8. change of beneficiary on RRSP and TFSA accounts. If you have life insurance, wills, etc you can add that too.
9. copy of wedding bands receipts
10. photos of us in same place(e.g. our house) to help show we lived together
