Hi there,
I am a Canadian citizen male and recently applied for my wife. I am a 2016 (Sep) applicant.
My file is in London and it has been almost 6 months (as of now Feb 2017) already.
I received an email on Dec 2016 saying that I was missing a Nikah nama translation (notarized version) but haven't heard anything back ever since other than the auto reply saying that "your enquiry has been received". I replied to the email back within a week with the notarized document attached.
Was curious if anyone here's a 2016 applicant and how's the process going so far.
Would appreciate the reply ASAP.

Hi.. these days LVO is working on May/June 2016 files. I doubt us Sept applicants will be hearing back from LVO before May-June 2017 if this pace continues.

U should order you GCMS notes to check the status on ur file. A few Sept 2016 applicants who ordered notes have noticed that our files are a part of some london pilot project... which we ofcourse have no information about... but i think its worth to order ur notes and check the status of ur previously sent nikkah nama

Thank you so much for the reply.
What is GCMS notes? What does that tell you and how to order it?
ONE MORE question that came up to my mind is that a friend of mine told me that the "New Process" is you have to get it done the complete Shadi including Valima+Rukhsati... I am only Nikha-fied and submitted my paperwork after few months.
Could someone share any thoughts?
