Spouse Sponsorship Outland( Quebec)

Hello Everyone,

I live in Quebec and I am a PR. I applied to sponsor my wife and the last communication we received as of now was an invitation to pre-arrival service that was sent to us in December 2024. When I log in to check the status from status tracker, I see that Both Biometrics, Medical Exam,Eligibility,Background have been marked completed. Yet, we have no decision yet as in COPR. Does anyone here help me to understand what's going or what should I do in this case!. I recently submitted a visitor visa application for her at least to see if she can come to visit me in the meantime. The application was submitted on April 07,2024.

No, noone knows. April 2024 to present would be short by current standards for any province. But your app is Quebec.

Quebec applications currently estimated at 30+ months. That has been the case for quite some time (this is not some anomalous data). There is some issue with Quebec applications - and it is entirely in the court of the government of Quebec. Complain to your MNA.
