His 2nd medical was done on August 8, 2011 that was because his 1st medical was expired. Then on September 15th he received another letter to do a lardotic chest x-ray, he got that done on September 28th. And then He received the passport request on October 3rd which was dated October 1.

Hi!

I sponsored my wife from out side Canada and as per CIC online status the application was received at Missisuaga office on November 30, 2010 and the decision letter was sent on January 5, 2011, which is still not received at our end. Additionally, my application for permanent residence was received at their office on January 14, 2011. My mentioned visa office is Islamabad, Pakistan.

I have tried to contact CIC but didn't get any response on the matter and their IVR system restricted my overseas call to contact their representative. Please let me know any email address or address to obtain a copy of decision letter/ or its status.

Most probably it is a positive decision in ur favor! Don't fret too much just try to call the call center and ask them!

Does anyone know if the remed and police clearance forms are the same as the initial ones sent? Or does CIC send different forms to be used?

They don't send any form to get police certificate you just have to contact your local district to get that done again like you did initially. For remedical they send you a form which you needs to take to the DMP at the time of your appointment, it contains information from your expired medicals...

I agree with u that raising are voices will bring change BUT if it was CIC fault I would raise my voice no question about it BUT its not

why we have the longest timeline and BACK LOG:

1) because we are muslims and acts of others have put us in this situation which results in lengthy backround checks
2) Scams ( i know people who have brought there siblings kids as there own) (i know a women and people who get money and do perform illegal weddings to bring people illegally here
3) when CHC specifies NO NIKAH ONLY cases but we still go ahead and do them

Hey this my first time on this fourm, my time line is the same as yours I have not heard anything from them since I sent my appilication I go to my mp for updates the last time i went they said they are aware of the meds expiring and my huuby meds expired in sept still waiting for remeds!

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows whether police clearance report has to be valid until the person lands in Canada or do they just need it to process the application. My husband's 2nd police clearance will be expiring in about 2-3 days, the visa office has his passport too since October 2011. So just wondering if anyone knows whether they will ask for another police clearance before issuing the visa or will they just let it go?

Any feedback is appreciated.

You were suppose to get that letter after you sent your files to missisuga office it takes abt 4-6 weeks only to recieve they letter try calling the office again
