I am Canadian citizen living in Canada. I have got married recently, and preparing to sponsor my wife who is living outside Canada.
The processing time for spousal sponsorship is 12 month. I am planning to submit an application for the "Temporary Resident Visa" for my wife after submitting for PR under spouse class.
I want to submit the TRV, because I do not want to live away from my wife for one year. Once the PR application is approved, she will go back get her PR, ship her stuff to Canada and enter Canada as a PR.
Is this a possible scenario for TRV applications?
