Hi,
I am PR of canada. I am sponsoring my wife. i am going to arrange following things:

- Company job letter
- 12 months pay stubs
- Option C form.

Do i need Option C form or T4 can serve the same purpose? If no how to obtain it?

Thanks,

Since there are no income requirements when sponsoring just your spouse, I don't think you need to include the pay stubs. My husband didn't and the sponsorship was approved without any delays.

To get Option C, you can order one from Revenue Canada. The number is right there on the checklist: 1-800-959-8281.

When my husband ordered it, he got it the next week. That was in February, he got the Option C for 2007 since his taxes for 2008 hadn't been done yet.

If the number I posted doesn't help you, you can find a list of tax service offices here: http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/cntct/tso-bsf-eng.html
My husband called the Vancouver one directly, asked for Option C and they mailed it to him.
