i just want to know if how long is the processing times in Abu Dhabi Visa Office for this year 2016.

No one can predict the processing times for 2016 and the actual processing time depends on the complexity of your application. You can check a number of sources and then draw some conclusions:

1) ADVO spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PblORrbClJ7xZ7enG5rFZZ7xqTz2N1ELLc2U4Cj7JY4/edit#gid=0 (this is why it is so important for everyone to add their timelines....). So far the average (of those on the sheet) for those who applied in 2015 is 8 months from the date of application received (10 months for all timelines posted since May 2012)

2) 2015 outland spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FAYZyQgud1lzp7fM28i2O8ZrfbMAxdTc_t7_fiwI6ak/edit#gid=658388151 (for a sense of how quickly all applications are moving (again this also depends on the sample size...so it's very important people add their timelines to this as well)

3) CIC Application Processing Times - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/ - currently it is stating 17 months (including 2 months processing time for sponsors) - so 15 months after application submission

4) the commitments made by the current government to reduce and decrease waiting times

It seems that what they're taking off the sponsorship processing times, they're adding on to PR card processing times.

Nothing checking ecas every day to see if anything has changed . I wanted to know that do they make decisions without police clearance ? We have sent everything . Someone once told me that when they request for passport they also send request for police clearance. Someone enlighten me about the process .

Hoping things move quickly for you. The passport request letter has a series of checkboxes for what they want you to submit. In our case they only wanted passport and two photographs....but there were other types of documents listed. I guess it just depends on each case and the officer reviewing it.

I completely understand now. It's case by case how they will submit the police request. Thanks for the clarification.

I ordered my notes to get some ideas of how things are preceding. Have you contacted your PM
I have read other places in the forum that once they contacted their PM , they got DM in few days.

This slowness started right after liberals took charge
