If applied for spouse sponsorship and my spouse is in India currently. If all the process goes thru and my spouse gets a PPR. I have two questions please

1) Many people suggest to go thru VFS. How much does VFS charge for this? Also, what do we have to tell them? Do we just take PPR and passport and they will know the procedure?
2) After visa stamping. How long does spouse have, before they have to arrive to Canada? Is there any expiry to the visa?

Appreciate any replies please.

You can read the procedure, requirements, charges, and other details on VFS website. Link is posted below:

Generally, if approved, your spouse will have one year to land in Canada. The duration can be shorter depending on the validity of passport. Yes, There will be an expiry date.
