I'm a canadian citizen married to uk resident. she will receive uk passport in 5 months as will be applying it soon. Wondering, when will be ideal to apply for sponsorship? now or after her passport.

You should be fine either way. But why in 5 months, and not now? I don't get it. My wife renewed her passport really early simply so it would reflect her married name.

Once my spouse got uk passport, it's easy to visit canada and apply within canada... I'm afraid if I do now, her identity will be changed during the process... is not it?

So, sorry but, I don't understand why it will take five months to get a new passport.

You can update the application midstream with a new passport, no problem.

Hi, my spouse will be changing her nationality to british. so process take 4-5months to allocate.

Your wife can be in Canada with you but don't apply inland . Even if your wife changes her nationality if she does not have enough ties in the U.k they still may forward her application to the country she was born in . Just because she has a British passport does not mean she will be processed through London.
