Hi, there! :)

I am wondering if min. requirement to sponsor a spouse is still $22,229.00. What if I am self-employed and for the pass two years I did not make that much money. I a house owner with a mortgage. I don't have other debts. But I do have RRSP and some savings. The total amount of my RRSP and savings is around the same amount as my mortgage balance. My business is doing batter than last year and it will continue to increase next year.

Anyone who has any idea what shall I do prove I have sufficient financial ability to sponsor my spouse to come to Canada?

If I am not wrong I believe there is no income requirement for spousal sponsor.....if u have a good job that's a plus but its not a requirement...I know few girls who did not even work but there husbands got visa.

Is it true? I did see the post regarding the requirement somewhere sometime ago. I just not sure if it means gross income or net income.
